BEFORE INVESTING HEAVILY CONFIRMED HIM/HER AS YOUR HUSBAND/WIFE FIRST

In today’s world there are so many cases of people complaining of be jilted in relationships after investing heavily. For some, the aftermath of the breakup is committing suicide, while for others it takes time to heal and move on. When we start investing heavily on something that is not certain then is a question mark on our personality am not saying don’t spend but spend as if your reward is in Gods hand. Like they say a broken relationship is better than that of a marriage. A lady Shade Adebayo recently shared with me Joseph Anietie that most men, who approached her for love are mainly interested in milking her. A particular experience has taught her more than a few lessons. She said “As nice as I am, a lot of men just want to take advantage of me.

“The most painful experience I have had in this regard was a relationship I had shortly after graduating from the university. The guy was financially unstable at the time while I had already started working. I was trying to be a good and supportive woman, so I was always giving him money. We dated for close to seven years and at a point; my people started asking questions, wanting to know where the relationship was headed. A number of times when I sought to know his thought about me, he would tell me that he indeed loved me and wanted us to marry but that he needed to be financially stable before committing himself.

At a point, he said he needed to start a business so that he could have a source of income to take care of me and wanted us to marry. Since I was under pressure from my people, I supported him with money. Shockingly, the business never took off. Eventually, he got married to another lady behind my back. All the people he had been introducing to me as his family members throughout the seven years that we were together were not even related to him. I was devastated. This was a long time ago; I was in my 20s then.

“That episode taught me a lot of lessons I have since learnt that it is not every man who comes around that you give the chance to play games with your heart. As a matter of fact, I am wondering if marriages are really for me because I have seen a lot in my life. So, for now, I am just being careful as far as that aspect is concerned. 

I think this is a lesson for all….be wise when spending and giving your heart in relationship so that when break up arise you won’t feel it much… these days dating a guy or lady for long period of time is not advisable.
